| well this one's for you, Kelsey. i can't take the harrassment any more. ok it has been a few months since i told the world wide web what i'm up to. last night was the opening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. if only i could get 16 people from RUF to come to BackYard Bible Club as painlessly as they volunteered to see a new flick. i must say it was no disappointment in my book. highly entertaining...
oh the world of an RUF intern...let's see. i don't know why it's so hard to thing of things to say right now. this afternoon is the chosen time allotted to finding my secret santa gift. i have several options, most of them over the $10 limit but who is going to know when i take the price tag off. i have a really spectacular person to shop for. and on the side, i've been shopping for all the people who don't know what to get their person. maybe i'll become a personal shopper after the internship...actually i would be miserable, since i always say i'm going to become strictly a catalog shopper one of these days.
well scott, i think it's time we leave this computer lab and find better things to do with our time. it's friday after all. TGIF.
| Well thanks to Sarah I have been exposed. I can hide no longer in my little house in my little room. Just kidding...of course i am not hiding from you. I am spending Quality Time with my new roommate Amanda. Actually we have been sitting on our front porch for the last two hours...meeting neighbors. Just in case you were wondering i have been learning how to make fliers that print vertically and not horizontally to hand out on campus YOUR first days of school. Look for me at the RUF table...bring your friends. I don't think I can bribe you because we're not handing out anything free, as usual. We aren't into that. You receive the joy of saturating in authentic relationships... If you have time tomorrow come with me to First Pres for the Blood Drive. I know, I know, i passed out last time I gave blood too but it's okay--it's worth it. Especially if you have the universal donor blood like I do. You just can't deny the opportunity to save lives. You just can't. | | |
| well it has surely been awhile since i entered blog world. i apologize to my anxious audience for the length of silence.
tomorrow i go to mempho to see my baby (actually my niece Celie--anyone who has seen my phone knows her). and then to OXFORD for Double Decker. WooHoo. and if you want the full summer schedule, which i typed and printed out for my mother today, then please submit a request. preferably TEXT me because i now have unlimited texts. Yes folks I am officially a text fiend. Sarah is the main recipient, coming in first place in the outbox thus far.
well Peeps, i'm out to play ultimate later than i would like. if anyone is interested in lifting a television from my apartment and relocating it to Morgan's just let me know. it's your chance to show off.

| what a beautiful day for Bible Club. well, we're bound and determined. there is no stopping us right Christina??? think about our precious little ones waiting in the laundry room for our arrival. does anyone know of anyone who would like to accompany me to India this summer??? for a mere $2000 you're good to go. ok thought i'd drop that thought. i sent out a mass email to family and other RUF interns across the nation. my brother responded "I'd LOVE to go. Oh yeah, I have a wife, a baby and a job. I guess that means no."
in other news...well there is no other news. i guess that's all i got. tomorrow our softball season begins which will be quite humorous. our team has grown to about 16 players--rock on.
| Rascall Flatts all the way. I was a bit skeptical going in... I don't normally have much tolerance for that sort of thing. But it was for Anne's birthday so I figured celebrating the birth of a dear friend may require some sacrifice on my part. And so $37 Rascall Flatts tickets it was. Needless to say, it was thoroughly entertaining and I now consider myself a fan. Tease all you want. We got to be a part of a music video to top it off.
Other than that, I have been to Oxford for a day and riding around on four-wheelers and seeing friends and playing with Celie (my neice) and going to church and talking about Hattiesburg/Southern/RUF and driving around Memphis with Lindsey (my sister in law)...and playing with my pups and now I am typing on David and Lindsey's GARGANTUOUS 17" apple computer. I'm insanely jealous it's so snazzy.
Okay we're planning my mom's birthday party (tomorrow is her 56th b'day) onward I go. If anyone is bored, give a shout out to Joanna she is looking for things to do and nice people to spend time with this week. I gave her a few numbers but she may not call. Call me if you want her number. I'm out.
